No matter if I am speaking at a business convention, a college, a high school, to a sports team, or just chatting with people I meet through business and networking, a common term I hear is "breakthrough". Everyone is always looking for the next big break they are going to score or the next person that they will meet that will change their business or the new deal to top all deals. This type of thinking is TOXIC and something that a lot of millennials have begun to depend on.

Millennials are often referred to as the entitled generation and for a good reason! We all constantly are looking for "fast money" and attempting to cut corners...the only issue is if you cut too many corners you start going in circles.

We need to decide that no matter what the outside conditions are, we aren't going to depend on somebody else to make our break for us! If we are given a breakthrough by an outside force before we are ready, we will fail and always end up broke!

LIFE IS AN EGG! Your success is trying to hatch and get free of the protective shell that holds you captive!

If your breakthrough happens due to an outside force, it can only mean death.

If your breakthrough occurs from the inside out, it means life! YOU must be the one who creates your own breakthrough!

Your personal growth and development is what causes you to have the strength for your breakthrough, and while you may not be fully evolved into who you need to be eventually, you must breakthrough to give yourself a shot!

Be your own personal catalyst for success. You are either growing or dying, there is no standing still.
